My Ummu Salamah is a shop-for-charity program initiated by Alumni PKP Kulim 89 to help Ummu Salamah Orphanage in Gerik, Perak. This is an online grocery store where we can shop for food, consumables and clothing for the children@Ummu Salamah.
There are altogether 37 children@Ummu Salamah (girls and boys). Each child requires RM10 (USD3.13) daily for their food. Cheap, isn't? Cheap if we talk about feeding a child, but not anymore when you have 37 children with you. Monthly, Ummu Salamah needs RM12,700 to run the orphanage. We can help feed the children@Ummu Salamah by donating a few bags of rice, flour, salt or trays of eggs. Even a few bottles of tomato ketchup, soy sauce or a tin of sardines or concentrated milk. Let's not allow them to sleep in hunger.

"In December, the big family of Ummu Salamah will need a few things for their next school year. We are raising RM16,000 to help the children@Ummu Salamah with their Back To School shopping list.
